Whenever I look through So-Saree's posts, I always feel that I am not doing enough recipe posts although I cook so much.
The major reason behind it can be that I irritate people around me when I am clicking pics of the food rather than serving it to them. And then again there's always too little time left to click pics or to garnish the dish to make it look blog worthy.
So over the past few weeks I have been making a conscious attempt at clicking pics of the recipes I stir up, as much as I can. And so here I am, with the easiest and yummiest snack recipe for you.
I have always maintained that anything I cook should not take me hours and should not compromise on taste at all.
Today's recipe passes this test and is called the Open Sandwhich. My husband prefers to call it Bread Pizza, and I don't mind it as long as he is eating it. Right?
Ingredients:
Bread Slices (White or Brown)
Butter
Bell Pepper, Tomatoes finely diced
Sweet Corn boiled in salt water
Green Chutney
Chaat Masala
Grated Cheese
Procedure:
Now on a non stick pan put some butter and place your assembled Open
Sandwich on it. Cover it till the cheese melts and you are done.
This is a great snack that is tasty and easy to make. Perfect for kitty parties or if you are having friends over.
The best part is it can be customized as per your preference to make it healthier.
For example using brown bread instead of white.
Adding butter on the non stick pan makes the bread slice crisp, but if you like healthy more than crispy, give it a miss.
Same is the case with Cheese.
Hope you like this recipe and will try it soon.

It tastes better with tomato ketchup.
