Happy Navratri : Day 2: ORANGE Colour

Day 2 of Navratri is dedicated to the worship of Goddess Brahmacharini, the unmarried form of the Mother Goddess. The colour associated with the day is orange which signifies, tranquillity, brightness and knowledge.
Orange is not a colour I am exactly fond of, so I do not own a saree in the colour. So I decided to attempt a jugaad and borrowed MIL's orange blouse and peach saree and combined it with an orange dupatta to create today's look. Added some pearls and t
his gorgeous pearl potli from Perfect Cutt to complete the look. Scroll down for the pictures.
T
his look reminded me of Indian royalty and I am going to attempt creating more such looks in the future.

  2. Hello Guest

The same day Agra tour by car and it was an incredible experience! Starting early in the morning really helped beat the crowds at the Taj Mahal. The convenience of a private car made the whole journey super comfortable, and having a guide at each monument added so much depth to the history. Highly recommend this tour if you're short on time but want to experience the magic of Agra in a day!
