Jooti Love..!

I am absolutely loving my latest find..these lovely pair of jootis I picked up from the road.
And if you are thinking I wore these on my Indian dresses....
You are so wrong.
I have been teaming these lovelies with my denim dresses and pants to achieve an Indo-Western Look.
Plus they are so comfortable I can literally sleep in them.
What do you think about it?

What I wore at the #DiscoverGreen Event

For the #DiscoverGreen Event at Koroli, we had decided we would wear at least one thing green. Green being my favourite colour, I kind of overindulged.
So this is what I wore to the event.
My favourite pair of wedges
I love street shopping.

Heaven Has Descended on Earth... #DiscoverGreen

Home is where the heart is and believe it when I say it I left mine at Koroli - The Hill Station when I visited it a few days ago. Mission #DiscoverGreen truly stole our hearts and gave us many pleasant memories to bring back home.
The Vaitarna backwaters captured recently from Green Courts, Koroli
Nestled in the picturesque backwaters of the Vaitarna lake and surrounded by green mountains all year around, Koroli is nature lovers Paradise. No wonder it is called Mother Nature's favorite abode.

And I can't thank the E&G group enough for discovering and developing this beautiful location for developing holiday homes.
About E&G: E&G stands for Environment and Green. Four Friends with a background in real estate development got together to do something that struck a common chord with them...Nature. These four nature lover friends realized that it is with nature that you discover oneself and feel completely at home. So they established E&G a real estate company that identifies and develops green and scenic locations to build green homes and resorts around nature.
Every venture that E&G embarks on has nature as a partner.

About Green Courts, Koroli.

Koroli is a picturesque location about 30 minutes from Igatpuri.
Surrounded by the backwaters of the Vaitarna lake on one side and the lush green mountains on the rest ..Koroli looks like Heaven has descended on Earth.
Identifying the potential of the natural topography of Koroli, E&G plans to develop a number of amenities and facilities in and around Koroli.
The backwaters of Vaitarna acts as perfect setting for kayaking and boating.
The mountains act a perfect place for rock climbing and trekking activities.
Plus E&G plans to set up a library for the book lovers, horse riding for adventure lovers, a cricket ground, tennis court and baseball court for sports lovers, an amphi theatre for entertainment lovers plus a hill view coffee shop, an organic Indian restaurant, infinity pool and much more; all in one destination..Koroli.
Green Courts is the name of the project being developed by E&G at Koroli. It is  a 17 acre gated project with 24 hour security and comprises of 2 and 4 BHK premium nature villlas along with studio apartments.

Natural beauty surrounds these villas so you can wake up everyday feeling refreshed and one with nature.

Koroli is a 2 hour 30 mintutes drive from Mumbai which makes it a perfect destination for fun weekend getaway or even better to own a holiday home. Also Koroli is a perfect holiday destination due to its proximity to the below tourist spots:
-Trimbakeshwar Temple: 28 kms from Koroli
-Kalsubai Peak: 35 kms from Koroli
-Igatpuri: 50 kms from Koroli
-Bhandardhara: 50 kms from Koroli
-Saputara: 80 km from Koroli
-Shirdi: 90 km from Koroli
And many more...

Considering the potential of Nashik's tourism, the state of Maharashtra has allotted Rs. 100 crore to develop the infrastructure of Nashik. This naturally benefits Koroli's infrastructure.
For all these reasons and much more Green Courts at Koroli is the wisest choice to buy a holiday or destination home. And if all these reasons were not enough for you to make up your mind to invest here, read below.
Passive Income Option: The passive Income option as provided by E&G is one where you can rent back your villas to E&G after buying it. While the property remains in your name, E&G uses it as a part of their resort facility. This enables you to not only earn rent income but your maintenance charges also get waived off. Now, how cool is that!

So-Saree Readers Speak - Ruchita

Hello Everyone!
Hope you are enjoying the Navratri Festivities because I am not ...and someone should.

Life has been busy and my blog is surviving on pre-drafted posts.
So I apologise if I have not been able to keep up with the blog posts of my bloggers friends.
But other than that Life is good.
Especially because we have a So-Saree Reader post to share today.
Today's reader also happens to be family.
Ruchita Thakkar is my husband's cousin and happens to be an ardent follower of So-Saree.
She not only appreciates and encourages So-Saree, but also pampers me with nail art goodies.
And that is not the only reason why I like her so much. (sheepish grin)
Today she features on the So-Saree Readers Post to share her love for my blog and of course me. :)
Thank you Ruchita..Believe me when I say it..I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.
Over To You....
I started reading So-Saree mainly to get to know Aditi. Being globally distant meant that there was hardly any opportunity for the same. However, I soon realized that I started to get hooked to reading the posts on So-Saree and would find myself waiting for a new post always. What has maintained my interest in the blog is variety in topics (travel, nail art, culture, recipes) and the way of writing (straight from heart). The posts are concise and at the same time doing justice to the subject. My favourite post so far has been the one on Autism. I was so touched by Sayuri’s life and in some way inspired me. I love the quick recipe posts as well.

Coming back to the purpose of why I started to read So-Saree posts, I feel I had achieved it, as when I met Aditi for the first time, I found her to be, just like I had expected her through reading her posts.

I used to write blog posts on recipes ( which I stopped long while back. Hence, I realise that it is not easy to stay committed to writing in midst of busy schedule. I admire Aditi’s dedication and hard work in maintaining the spark of her blog.

I was requested to send my picture in a Saree to accompany this post. But, I am not a great fan at wearing saree mainly because (whether you believe it or not), I have yet to master the skill of draping the saree well and carrying it elegantly as well. Anyways, this picture is few years old taken at a Diwali pot luck party that we were attending at a friend’s place.

I would like to end this note by saying a huge thank you to So Saree for giving me an opportunity to write a post.

Aditi, you are doing a great job. Keep it up . Keep blogging!!!

Happy Dussera To All !!!
