On Day 9 of Navratri we worship Maa Dura in the form of Siddhidatri. The day is ruled by the colour Purple, which represents ambition, goal and energy.
After having borrowed sarees from MIL and my sister, I am finally wearing my moms saree. This is an old saree of my mom's which she wanted to discard, but I got it from her because I wanted to stitch a dress for Ishanvi. But the lockdown happened and all my plans were foiled. While planning my sarees for Navratri, I realised I didnt have a purple one, and decided to wear this purple/lavender saree.
By the time I shot for the ninth look, I was so tired, that I decided to keep the accessories simple and just get over with the soot.
Hope you enjoyed this 9 days 9 sarees series. It was a tough one for me to pull, but I thoroughly enjoyed doing it.
